The All-stars arrived in Washington DC after a long flight and a well earned nights rest began this segment of our adventure with a tour of the Capitol Building. It was not without incident though. There was a slight wardrobe malfunction with one player who is notably missing from the team photo in front of [...]

After a day of practice, visiting the local Kutno orphanage (an annual event for the team to drop off a donation along with various school supplies, personal supplies, and clothing donated by the travel team families), and saying goodbye to our new friends/fans from the Lombardia Little League in Milano, Italy. The boys had a last dinner with [...]

Clean Sweep! All-Stars 3-0 going into the final
July 27, 2008
In another shortened game, our boys defeated Kuwait 15-0.
The sun was out as the boys took the field secure in the knowledge that a place in the big game was secure. They did not let up. Evan Merriwether took the field as the starting pitcher and over the course of three innings proceeded to rack up [...]
Second Win for the Saudi All-Stars
July 25, 2008
Our team won again! This time the competition was from Uganda. Their program is somewhat fledgling and they were sadly unable to match us in spite of some good hitting and pitching. Today’s game ended after 4 innings with our boys holding a 12-0 lead.

Blonde Hair Everywhere
July 19, 2008
Continuing a tradition, the boys had their hair blonded this weekend and it was quite an event! Everyone pitched in and the results were striking. The boys can now find out if blondes really do have more fun! As thee story goes, the travel team has blonded their hair every year but one. That year [...]
Second entry in the pool
July 14, 2008
It is less than a week before we leave for Kutno, Poland! I think everyone is ready to get this show on the road. The boys are still working hard and in my humble opinion are looking great. The second entry to the pool we will hopefully participate in has been determined. The Edogawa Minami [...]
